Withdrawal Information

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This notice explains the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers purchasing MediaToolkit digital content and subscription services online. A consumer is a person purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. The statutory consumer right described here does not generally apply to business purchases; any mandatory rights applicable to your purchase remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded. The rules below explain when an early loss of the right may apply to digital content or fully performed services.

To exercise your right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. Send your declaration to:

Marcus Pohorely, trading as Media Toolkit e.U.
Kratkystrasse 8a
8020 Graz
Austria

Email: [email protected]

Telephone: (pending approval).

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You do not need to give a reason, sign into your customer account or use the billing portal to send a withdrawal declaration.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we reimburse all payments received from you under that contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision. Reimbursement uses the same payment method as the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur fees for the reimbursement.

Where the statutory conditions for a proportionate payment for services already performed are met, the rules in the services section below apply. We do not deduct an arbitrary handling fee or apply a blanket exclusion of refunds for software purchases.

Following a valid withdrawal, access provided under the withdrawn contract may be ended. This does not authorize deletion of your own media files or remove rights arising under a separate applicable software licence.

Digital downloads and immediate supply

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the withdrawal right is lost before the 14-day period ends only when all applicable legal requirements are satisfied. These include:

  • You expressly consent to supply beginning before the withdrawal period ends.
  • You acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right when supply begins under those conditions.
  • We provide the required contract confirmation on a durable medium, including those declarations and the required contractual information.
  • Supply of the digital content has begun.

Buying the plugin, accepting the Terms & Conditions, activating a license or downloading a file does not, by itself, replace these requirements. If the requirements for early loss of the right are not met, your statutory right remains. Where the law so provides, you do not owe payment for digital content supplied during the withdrawal period following a valid withdrawal.

Services that begin during the withdrawal period

Where your purchase includes ongoing services, starting them early does not automatically remove the withdrawal right for the entire subscription. For paid services, early loss of the right requires full performance and the express consent and acknowledgement required by law.

If you expressly request services to begin during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you may have to pay a reasonable amount corresponding to the services actually performed up to the time you inform us of your withdrawal, compared with the full service agreed in the contract. Such a charge applies only if the legal requirements, including the required advance information and express request, are met. If those requirements are not met, no charge is due where the law excludes it.

These rules do not create a general right to charge for unused future subscription periods or automatically treat an entire annual subscription as fully performed at activation.

Model withdrawal form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You can copy it into an email or print it and send it by post. An equivalent unequivocal declaration is also accepted.

Withdrawal and subscription cancellation

Withdrawal from a purchase and cancellation of future subscription renewals are different actions. A valid withdrawal is handled under the statutory rules described above. Normal cancellation prevents the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the paid period, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

There is no additional voluntary money-back guarantee. This does not restrict your statutory withdrawal, warranty, termination or refund rights.
